Anyone that is interested in sharing about the different ways to adapt and live life to the fullest, including nonprofit organizations, community groups, schools, government agencies, and businesses.

A screening license is required to host a screening or show a film to a larger audience and it includes:
- Access to the film during a 24-hour screening period
- A license to host an in-person screening for your community
- Permission to advertise your screening, charge for admission, or accept donations
- Advertising materials, including standard and customizable graphics
- Support from the ADAPTED Team every step of the way
-
As independent filmmakers, we pour our hearts, time, and resources into creating stories that spread empowerment, resilience, and adventure. Screening fees help cover the growing costs of distributing the film and allow us to build a sustainable path forward—so we can continue making films that inspire and uplift. Thank you for helping us share these stories with the world.
-
The license fee is based on the size of your event:
Up to 50 attendees = $500 USD
Up to 100 attendees = $1,000 USD
Up to 200 attendees = $1,750 USD
Up to 300 attendees = $2,500 USD
How you cover the cost: Many hosts are finding creative ways to cover their expenses — like securing a local sponsor to support their event, or charging a ticket price (of your choosing) or using it as a fundraiser.
If your group size is larger than 300, or if cost is a barrier, please let us know in the form. Our team is happy to explore options with you and will follow up directly.

We recommend renting a local theater or event space whenever possible. These venues often have built-in seating, accessible parking, and professional audio/visual setups — which makes the screening process smoother and creates a high-quality experience for your guests.
Great venue options include:
Independent or boutique theaters
University auditoriums
Arts, community centers or public libraries
Conference rooms or presentation spaces
If you're hosting at a less traditional venue, be sure to confirm whether A/V is included or if you’ll need to rent a projector, screen, or sound system from a local vendor.

Paul, Josh, Anna, and Danielle are honored to attend select events in person when scheduling and logistics allow. They’re available for engaging live Q&A conversations and heartfelt presentations.
Costs include travel expenses and an appearance fee, which varies depending on the details of your event.
Feel free to reach out to us at info@adaptedthefilm.com if this is something you’re dreaming about—we’re happy to start the conversation.
-
Yes! For an additional fee, the director and/or some of the cast members may be able to join your event virtually—whether via Zoom or another platform—for a live Q&A session following the film.
The fee varies depending on the details of your event and is subject to availability.
